Welcome to FitNova. We are dedicated to fostering a global ecosystem where athletes and fitness enthusiasts can achieve absolute physical and mental transformation. To maintain this high-performance environment, all users must adhere to our Chat Guidelines. These standards govern all user interactions within the FitNova chat system, including private conversations, media sharing, and user discovery features. These guidelines are an extension of our Terms of Service, which you also agree to when using FitNova.

1. Core Values and The Warrior Spirit

FitNova is built on the principles of discipline, accountability, and mutual growth. We expect our members to embody the "Warrior Spirit" through:

• Radical Support: Actively encouraging peers through constructive engagement and celebration of milestones.
• Inherent Respect: Recognizing the diverse stages of fitness journeys and treating every individual with professional courtesy in all conversations.
• Empowerment: Providing value-driven feedback that fosters improvement rather than discouragement.

2. Professional Conduct & Ethical Communication in Chat

Maintaining a safe messaging environment is our primary governance priority. FitNova maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding:

• Harassment and Bullying: Any form of targeted abuse, personal attacks, or systematic intimidation via chat messages.
• Chat Misconduct: Body shaming, mocking progress, or using derogatory language in private conversations.
• Sexual Misconduct: Explicitly prohibited unwanted advances, inappropriate messaging, or solicitation of sensitive imagery.
• Interpersonal Safety: Threats of physical violence or the promotion of self-harm.
• Unsolicited Contact: Repeatedly messaging users who have not responded or who have blocked you, or creating new accounts to circumvent blocks.

4. Health Compliance and Physical Safety

To ensure the biological integrity of our community, FitNova strictly regulates fitness-related claims and practices shared through chat:

• Prohibited Advice: Promotion of extreme caloric restriction, dangerous weightlifting techniques, or medically unsound dieting via chat messages.
• Controlled Substances: Strict prohibition of the promotion or sale of anabolic steroids, illegal performance enhancers, or unregulated drugs.
• Hazardous Trends: Encouraging viral challenges that pose a significant risk of physical injury or long-term health complications.
• Professional Integrity: Users must not provide medical or professional advice unless verified as a certified professional by FitNova.
• Misleading Health Claims: Prohibition of disseminating scientifically unsupported, deceptive, or unsubstantiated health and wellness information.

5. Chat Privacy, Encryption & Username Conduct

FitNova's chat system is designed with security and privacy at its core:

• End-to-End Encryption: All chat messages are protected with end-to-end encryption. Only the sender and recipient can read message contents — FitNova cannot access, read, or decrypt the content of your private conversations.
• Username & Discoverability: Users can be found by searching their username or display name. If your account is set to "Public," any user can initiate a chat with you. If your account is set to "Private," only users you have approved can contact you. You can change your visibility setting at any time in the app settings.
• Content Context: Chat interactions should remain relevant to fitness, nutrition, and lifestyle optimization.
• Maturity Standards: Explicit, pornographic, or graphically violent content is strictly prohibited in any chat conversation.
• Communication Privacy: Sharing private chat conversations or personal contact information of others without explicit consent is a violation of trust.
• Conversation Privacy: Content shared in chat is private between participants. However, users are strictly responsible for the personal data they choose to disclose in any conversation. To understand how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
• Username Integrity: Usernames must not impersonate other individuals, brands, or public figures. Usernames containing offensive, discriminatory, or misleading content are prohibited and will be removed.

6. Youth Safety and Protection

Protecting our younger members is a critical mandate. FitNova is strictly for users aged 13 and older. For users under 18, we enforce rigorous safety standards. Any exploitation, grooming, or inappropriate targeting of minors through the chat system will be reported to relevant authorities and result in permanent platform exclusion.

FitNova has a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Any content depicting or promoting the sexual exploitation of minors will be immediately removed, the offending account will be permanently terminated, and the incident will be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and applicable law enforcement agencies.

7. Financial Integrity and Anti-Fraud

FitNova is a space for transformation, not exploitation. The following are prohibited in chat:

• Commercial Spam: Automated marketing, repetitive advertisements, or unsolicited commercial messaging via the chat system.
• Fraudulent Schemes: Deceptive giveaways, unlicensed financial advice, or the sale of illegitimate training programs through chat.
• Identity Integrity: Impersonating athletes, professionals, or other users to deceive or gain influence via username or chat interactions.

8. Platform Governance and Asset Integrity

We maintain the highest standards for our digital ecosystem and intellectual property:

• Data Authenticity: Falsifying workout logs, nutrition metrics, or leaderboard data is prohibited.
• Technical Integrity: Prohibition of bots, automated engagement tools, or platform manipulation. Attempts to circumvent end-to-end encryption or exploit the chat system for unauthorized data collection are strictly forbidden.
• Intellectual Property: Users must respect copyrights. Unauthorized sharing of proprietary training programs or copyrighted media via chat is strictly prohibited.
• External Security: Distribution of malware, phishing links, or harmful downloads through chat will result in permanent bans.

9. Reporting, Enforcement, and Procedures

FitNova employs active moderation and automated safety systems to govern the platform:

• Chat Reporting: Users are encouraged to utilize in-app reporting tools for any observed violations in chat conversations. When you report a chat, you may choose to forward specific messages to our moderation team. You can also reach our moderation team directly via the Help Center.
• Moderation Actions: Enforcement may include chat restrictions, temporary suspension, or permanent account revocation as outlined in our Terms of Service.
• Safety Infrastructure: We provide user-level tools, including blocking, muting, and privacy settings (public/private account toggle), to empower personal safety.
• Appeals Framework: Users may submit a formal appeal to our governance team via the Help Center if they believe an enforcement action was taken in error.
