- 1.2 Health and Fitness Data: FitNova collects
fitness-related information that users voluntarily provide, including:
Workout history, Exercise preferences, Nutrition tracking data, Food logs, Body measurements (optional), Progress tracking information.This data allows the application to generate personalized workout and diet plans.
- 1.3 Food Scan Data (Camera/Photos): When using the food scanning feature, the app requires access to your device's camera or photo gallery. Images are processed locally or briefly transmitted to our AI servers solely for nutritional analysis. Images are not permanently stored, sold, or used for facial recognition. Once the AI extracts macros, the raw image data is discarded.
- 1.4 Device & Usage Information: When you access the Service, we may automatically collect device-specific information, including your hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (e.g., IDFA, Android Ad ID), browser type, IP address, and app usage data to diagnose technical issues and improve the Service. an end-to-end encrypted chat feature that allows users to communicate directly with one another, similar to secure messaging platforms. When you use the chat feature,

Your username (unique identifier), display name, account visibility setting (public or private), chat metadata (timestamps, participant identifiers), and shared media files.End-to-End Encryption: All chat messages between users are protected with end-to-end encryption. This means only the sender and recipient can read message contents — FitNova cannot access, read, or decrypt the content of your private conversations.
Username & Discoverability: Your username and display name are searchable by other users. If your account is set to "Public," any user can find you by searching your name or username and initiate a chat. If your account is set to "Private," only users you have approved can contact you.
Users are responsible for the content they choose to share in chats. FitNova reserves the right to review reported content (when forwarded by a participant) and take action against accounts that violate our Chat Guidelines or applicable laws.

Generated workout, diet plan, food scan analysis, and other recommendations are AI estimated.

FitNova does not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties. Each and every single data you provide to FitNova is used only for you and your fitness journey. We may share with service providers along the app to perform tasks on our behalf.
